Excuses are tools of the incompatent

Yea Yea Yea, I know I'm fucking up and this post is two things unnecessary and unacceptable. "Day After Rehab" is not ready. I have been taking care of my sick father and that is my number one reason. Another reason is that I have been tryna complete a mixtape before I drop this LP. I feel like Ms.Repeat served as a prime example of what I don't want to happen to the rest of my music. I do not want it to come out and be hot for a month and die down. Euro P. Gold's music is supposed to be classic. In the case of what is ready to be on the LP is not classic. Some of my final recordings were next level but the receding rhymes were mediocre to say the least. This goes hand in hand with the production. This is not a dis to TeKniks because we hasd this discussion months ago and HE IS STILL THE BEST PRODUCER COMING OUT OF HU. Furthermore, my promotion is sad. If my people back in Pa don't do more than just download then I'm assed out. I though that when people downloaded they played their new music for others. I know thats what I do. But I can't expect the world to think like me, do like me or do what I want. I have to remember that promotions and marketing is a key essence of success. I have too many industry examples of how true this claim is.

Here is the plan. I intended on smashing the web with about 5 songs that were slated for release. I am working on a mixtape. A MIXTAPE not an ALBUM, that is in its virgin stages. I got some key beats and think I finally have the perfect DJ/person to host it. This should actually blow your mind if successfully completed. Look for a major ad campaign for Day After Rehab. When this is in action you will know exactly what to expect and when to expect the LP to drop. I can't give you a time of the summer but It is dropping in the 4th Quarter. Fair Enough???
Special Shout Outs to TeKNiks, EARTHGANG, Miles D, Pat, Rob Avery, Glenn Ellis, Ralph Brown, and everybody who has been asking me how long I have been rapping.

The Welcome-

You know how you go to a church program and they always start it off with a welcome of some sort? Sure you do, there is always that little kid who is nervous, and they have that light voice that is so cute they grasp every ones attention in the room. Whelp, that was me growing up and for that I have always looked forward to speaking and getting all of the attention. With that soliloquy I welcome everyone to the scheduled program. I will be your host for as long as possible. My name is Euro P. Gold also known as Smoove Da Track one eigth of the high school movement called H.L.S. I am doing this blog for three reasons. 1. To keep my fellow beat heads up to snuff with all of the indurstries hits and misses, equipment, sounds and samples, and anything else I find that mite serve as a muse to your passion. 2. To keep my fellow hip hop junkies in tune with what producers are hot( signed and unsigned), how to get in touch with them, and where you can find local open mics. 3. To keep it real and original. In refrenece to the last item on the agenda, I call a spade a spade and I will be venting on here, keeping you posted on my life as I continue my journey towards seeing my name in lights. With that said I welcom you to a new day, where origonality surpasses the trends and you write your own ticket to success. Once again Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
